Events
Our program categories come together in four quarterly events. Each one creates a safe, inclusive space to learn, create, compete — and celebrate what our community can do.
Youth & Women Empowerment Expo. The year opens with momentum: career readiness, financial literacy, business pitch competitions, and a job fair connecting participants to opportunity.
A marketplace of our community's creativity: cultural crafts, cooking demos, youth art sales, and language showcases that celebrate the heritages woven through Edmonton.
Summer is for students: our Spelling Bee, summer camp, reading & writing clubs, mentorship training, and a debate series that keep young minds active and confident.
We close the year by giving back: a fundraising gala and our community garden harvest, with food literacy and school support for families heading into a new school year.
Event dates and venues are announced through our community channels. Follow us on Facebook or contact us to hear about the next gathering — and how to take part, volunteer, or showcase your work.
Local businesses and organizations are welcome at CYI events — from the Skill Fest job fair to the Craft & Culture Market.
